What to expect

    A short general-anaesthetic procedure, often combined with grommets or tonsillectomy.

Will it change my child's voice?

Temporary nasal changes can occur but almost always settle within weeks.

Is pain significant?

Typically mild compared to tonsillectomy — simple paracetamol usually suffices.

Can adenoids grow back?

Regrowth is uncommon but possible; recurrence of symptoms should prompt review.
